  1. You should dust your crickets with this powder at least once a week for your gecko... crickets have little nutritional value, and this dust helps your little guy grow strong bones. If he doesnt get enough calcium his bone will become brittle and for young lizards will cause bowing. This is when the bone warps, kinda like wood does when it is badly weathered. For older lizards the bones are more fragile and break easily. You could also try other treats for him, he will probably like mealworms, waxworms, and night crawlers - these are commonly sold at Petco or PetSmart. Just keep in mind that meal worms are loaded with protien and should be a treat only 3 - 5 a week - but are easy to keep, just store container upside down in your frig - upside down allows easy access to the worms as they will burrow to the bottom wich will actually be the top. Good luck

  2. You should always use your own vitamin supplement petco and other petstores usually dont vitamin coat their insects or gut load them.

  3. 1. Remember- mealworms are not a good main food item. Use as a snack.

    2. You almost never buy insects pre-dusted since the dust will wear off. It is better to learn how to 'gut-load' your food items so their stomachs are full of nutrients.

    3. If all he has gotten is mealworms, he may be impacted since the shells are very hard to digest or pass.

  4. i guess you could powder them if you want to. irdk.

  5. They didn't ,thats up to you
