  1. You are out of luck..

It is your responsibility to DEMAND insurance on your shipments, and to pay for such insurance. I used to insure shipments when I thought the deal felt shady to me, and sure enough, I'd have people say that 2-300$ orders were "lost". I'd email them back and say " Great, I insured the shipment anyways, and will need to get you the postal forms to file a claim".

Strange thing was... I'd never hear from them again... hmmmm

I know the above example is not the case with you, but on Ebay it is ALWAYS a good idea to pay for insurance, regardless of order size.

  2. report this to ebay right away. ask the seller to give tracking no.

  3. why don't you go back to the seller on ebay,

and say they lost your package then ask for a refund.

and i would have a bigger arguement with the post office because they shouldn't have lost your package in the first place

  4. Talk to the seller and the eBay customer support team they will surely guide you and help you

  5. How'd you pay?

You can file a complaint with Paypal that you didn't receive.

If you used a credit card.. your credit card company should have some kind of protection.
