I bought this pc today that some one got out of a house that was abandoned for cleaning it up?

And as soon as you turn it on you can see that is win xp the log on screen comes up then it says administrator but wants a password..how can I changes this password?? Is there a way to change it if I put the HDD in to my pc as slave I done that to it a little bit ago and changed the sam file name to sam1 and that did not work I have been searching and searching and i can not figure this out someone please help??? I can not get pass this log on screen since I do not know the password

Although this situation sounds sketchy, you can simply grab a Windows CD and reformat.  As soon as you put the CD in the drive and reboot, it will start the process up.  This, of course, is given you don't want any of the information on the pre-existing install..

if you put that drive in as a slave in another computer so that it doesn't boot you can use this program

run it from your computer and target the windows directory on the slave drive. you can then remove the pw, remove the acct too, create a new one, or w/e else you want

i use it with a live cd to work on old disk drives if i have to
