I bought waffle mix, how do I change it for Belgian waffles?

I don't understand the need for tons of types of mixes. Just use a belgian waffle iron.

The waffle iron for the Belgian waffles is different than a regular waffle iron.  

Waffle batter is waffle batter as far as I can tell.  You need a lot more of it to make the Belgian waffles because they are much thicker.

You have to go back to the store you purchased the waffle mix and exchange it and when you get to the aisle look for a waffle mix that reads Belgian waffles on it.

You use a Belgian waffle iron. That's all, insofar as I can tell.
