I broke a blood vessel in my eye?

I'm not sure what caused it (although) I wear contacts...it broke one day and spread overnight...like half my left eye is bloody looking. What should I do for it? Do I really need to see a doctor if it's not impairing vision? How long will the blood take to clear up?

It will go away, but it takes a while.

If it hurts I'd see a doctor... its never a bad idea if you're covered.... but it will go away.
