  1. That's the least of your problems - people who break metatarsals end up being the main headlines in the media for weeks!

  2. A over the counter drug would help.

  3. Depends on whether or not you manage to stay off of it. I broke mine when I was about 12, and it healed in less then a month!

Just don't walk on that foot, ice regularly, and take some Asprin for the pain.

  4. you will need at least 4-6 weeks in a aircast walker, then a few weeks in a rocker sole. Provided the fracture isn't displaced, you should fully fit in approx 10-12 weeks

  5. usually 6 to 8 weeks hope it gets better soon:)

  6. You make it sound like your old. It will take just as long as a 20 year old...

  7. My dad is 63 and broke his too, he healed in 8 weeks but is still having problems now ,this was 2 yr ago.

he took and still takes co-codamol.

Hope you get well soon x

  8. 6-8 weeks, paracetamol and ibuprofen for pain and reducing inflammation.

    Good luck

  9. probably a couple of months before the injury is right, but the pain may last a lot longer, so ask your Dr  for something for the pain. a regular otc may not be strong enough.
