I broke my Time Warner TV Remote...?

I broke my Time Warner DVR Remote Control and I was wondering if I had to call the company and pay for a new one? If so how much is one? Or could I just buy a Universal Remote? Thanks!

With an OE remote you will be able to do everything like normal. If it is not OE (original equipment) remote you wont be able to do things like PPV or the recording options for the DVR. I would bring in the broken pieces and the remote and get a new one, They charge $8 a month to rent another remote. You should not notice a difference in your bill because they have been charging you the $8 a month for the remote you broke. I went to the office and gt a breakdown on the charges for a month.
