I broke my clavical and am wondering how long I'll be out of swimming.?

it was just a fracture and they just put my arm in a sling, how long will it be?

my friend did that and she was out 8 weeks.

You are not even in a brace?  Lucky!  I broke my collarbone straight through (a clear break) and I was out for 8 weeks no swimming, and then when I could swim, he said go easy, and try not to dive, but you can swim (all the strokes he said were fine).
