I broke my parents window how much would it cost?

I think its called a picture window and there are 20 windows that all connect through a frame and I broke one how much do you think it would cost? They are maybe the size of a 17" monitor (not widescreen) PLEASE HELP !

If you only damage one of the panes in the panel, it won't be much to repair; you might even be able to do so yourself. Small panes of glass are quite reasonable, it is the labor of installation that costs.

The pane should be held in by pins or molding. Wear a pair of good leather gloves and remove the molding, take out the damage glass, and use a paint scraper, spatula or screwdriver to clean up the opening. Get an accurate measurement of the pane, then call a glass shop, framing store, or home center and ask for a price. Picture frame glass is usually thinner than window glass, but they may have window glass available.

When you have the glass, get a friend to help, then place it in the opening and replace the pins, molding or putty. Make sure your buddy holds the glass in place until you have the putty/pins/molding in place, otherwise the pane may fall out and you'll have to do it all over again.

Depends on the brand and if its custom or not. If its that small and not custom you should be under $100.
