Earlier today i was in a tennis tournament and i became frustrated while losing to my oponent so i kept smashing my racket on the ground. My parents have no idea that i did that and I have no idea how to tell them? The racket was $120 so that makes it even harder to tell them.

  1. tell them that wild rhinos were attacking u and u used ur racket to kill it ha ha ha ha ha h he!!! um u can blame it on some one u dont like

  2. Just tell them that you are very sorry and you willl never do it again.  They will probably make you spend your own money on a new one, but at least if you sound dearly sorry than they probably won't yell at you.  Don't throw your racket ever again, it is really stupid.  At least if you spend your own money on it you will treasure it more than if you did not.

  3. how embarrassing

    i wouldnt tell them

  4. ouch! bad move

use ur most apologetic voice and just tell them that you lost your temper and that you are very very sorry and promise them u will never do it again

in the future dont throw ur racket! Its a bad habit that I use to do. Now i just hit it against my foot when I'm frustrated

U should try to find an alternate way to let ur anger out like i did.

  5. ok so lyk i dont completelyyy suggest it but this is what my brother did once: he goes hey mom, look at this new trick i learned! and he flips it in the air and "couldn't catch it" so it falls on the ground, and then he looked really upset and goes "mom... it broke!" lyk reallllly upset and stuff.. im not saying this is the BEST way or anything tho... lol OR u could tell ur parents and say ur superrrr sorry and stuff like that in ur most apologetic voice... OR u could buy a new one just like that and restring it too, but that'd be realllllly expensive lol

    Hope that helps!!!!! =D

  6. Ouch!

I'd say to start off and say that your racket's broken and explain that you lost your temper and apologize. To tell you the truth, $120.00 isn't that much for a racket, it's pretty average. Of course, you shouldn't say that to your parents.

Next time you get frustrated, use an alternative like I do- I usually just hit a very hard topspin ball to get my anger out.

    Good Luck! xD

  7. I would make a bigger deal out of what it is before you tell them.  For example, tell them you need to talk to them, tell them to sit down because you have to tell them something really bad...and pause for a while..and tell them you are not sure how to tell.  Then tell them what you did, why you did it, that you will never do it again, and how you are going to pay it back.  (you can string rackets for people, walk dogs, etc...depending on if you are under the age of 16)
