I tested negative for HIV two months ago and have since had a couple of unprotected partners. Two days ago I broke out in hives (around 8 hives) and worry it's HIV...am I just overreacting? I plan to get tested tomorrow.

  1. I have to ask, if you have already been tested for HIV once, you were concerned you had it then, why would you continue to have unprotected s*x?

HIV can lead to "bumps" but more than likely you have a different infection: HSV Herpes to name one.

Please always practice safe s*x, and don't go on a date without several condoms.  Then you will have no more worries.

    Good luck.

  2. you might have syphillis...HIV isnt the only thing out there buddy

  3. It usually takes months for HIV to actually begin to show symptoms.  It sounds to me like you are overreacting and possibly experience an allergic reaction to either a change in laundry detergent, shampoos, body washes, perfume/cologne, new clothes etc.  Even if you DID have HIV, which like I said would generally take much longer than just 2 months to show signs, you would have more serious symptoms than just some hives..

See a doctor, possibly a dermatologist, and have the hives looked at and treated.

You need to start using protection.  Several unprotected partners will very well lead you into HIV and many other STDs.  Are those few minutes of pleasure worth the rest of your life?  Take precaution.

  4. u should save that tomorrow for next 6 month. it take up to 6 month to have a positive result.

  5. Only you can help yourself.  You tested for HIV, proved negative and then went on to have unprotected s*x on more than one occasion.

With your mindset nothing anybody says will protect you.  Grow up, mature some and then you wont need to come back here asking this type of question.
