I broke the shaft at the hosel on my ping g2 4 iron?

so i broke this a while back when i was playing 9 holes with my friends on my hs team. whats a good cheap GRAPHITE shaft i can buy online

go back to where you bought the 4-iron and have them redo the club. it will be more expensive but will also turn out better for you.

I'm a firm believer that "you get what you pay for".  There are some decent graphite shafts out there that are middle of the road as far as price goes.  A good pro shop or clubfitter ought to be able to hook you up.

If you're on high school golf team, I'd think your coach ought to be able to suggest some shafts as well.

If I were you I would try to get the same shaft that you had in it unless you werent happy with it. Certainly going with a cheap graphite shaft will probably make your four go about as far as your current five or six so beware. Go to a proshop and spend about fifty bucks to have it done right. Different shafts have different playing characteristics.  I would look for a shaft that matches all the rewt of your irons.  Otherwise that club will have a strange feel compared to the others.  You want your irons to have a consistent feel throughout the set.  Steel shaft replacement is cheap.  Go to a golf store or send the club back into Ping, they will fix it for you for a reasonable price.
