  1. Take your vehicle to a reputable detailer who can remove the seats and steam clean the carpets and interior. This should cost approx. $150.00. They can put an ozinator inside after cleaning that will deplete the oxygen inside the vehicle in turn killing any odor causing bacteria that is causing the smell

  2. I had the same problem but the smell's gone now.

I rented a steam cleaner with upholstery attachment and cleaned carpet and seat thoroughly with cleaning solution. and put 2 bags of oder absorbing stones (from Home Depot) Under the front seats, and 1~2 month later the smell's gone.

And you need to keep the ventilation of climate control open (very important: do not use air recirculation but use fresh air setting at all times, it'll keep the heating and air condition unit clean and orderless).

Also spray Febreze on carpet and seats time to time.

  3. steam clean

  4. Steam clean the whole interior including the trunk and headliner with Oxi-Clean, then spray it really good with Fa-Breeze, or take it to a good detailer.

  5. replaced the seats

    or try some stink remover
