I brought a female inside & felt kittens, now I don't feel them. Could they have changed positions?

I'm gentle with her.. I've worked with cats all my life, but I'm really wondering where they could have disappeared to. I'm almost certain they're ready to come out & just changed positions in her tummy & I'm also sure she didn't give birth to them yet. Suggestions or certainty welcome. haha

I was having the same problem with my cat a couple days before she gave birth      get her to relax  and you will probably  be able to feel them

Yes kittens change position inside her womb. If she is still fat then she didn't have them. Cats look very skinny after giving birth.

i've experenced 5 litters of kittens being born. it is possible that they changed positions if she is still fat and u should be able to see the kittens moving around on the side of her stomach if she is close to giving birth.
