  1. That is odd indeed!  Something like should have nothing to do with playing a burned CD.  CD players read the format, and play the format they are capable of playing.  Sometimes the sensor can get out there in left field and you have to turn it off or turn the power off and than restart it.  That has happened to my DVD player before and also my CAR STEREO one time when I tried to play CDRW's.  It didn't like them and it seemed to confuse it to death.  But after I took it out and powered off and on, it was fine.  It might have been a coincidence, the player might have just broke on you.  But playing a burned CD should never cause the player to all of a sudden not play regular CDs.  Both cd's are compatible formats.

  2. ok, either under your face of your head unit or on the back, there should be a reset button (its really small and youll have to use a toothpick or something that size). If that doesnt correct it then you need a new one. But i can say it was not the cd.

  3. try restarting you cd player ( disconnect the red wire from your battery then reconnect it)
