I was trying to burn a bunch of photos onto DVD for storage reasons. I had the blank DVD file-view screen up (like when you click on it through My Computer), and just copied and pasted the files there. It took a hours to complete, and I thought it was writing them to the DVD as it went, and when it had done that I couldn't find a ''Burn To Disc'' button anywhere, so I pressed eject, and it spent a couple of minutes ''finalising'' I think, then ejected it. I put it back in to make sure the files were there - and they were - so I put it aside. I tried to access the files a few days later but the DVD sort of appears to be empty! It says ''Space Used: 60%'' but when I try to view the files it just says ''Drag files to this folder to add them to the disc''.

These photos are really important to me and I realise I should've Copied rather than Cut..but it's too late now! And sorry for my limited knowledge about computers but that's the best I could explain it... My friend thought they might be ''cached'' on the disc or something. I have Windows Vista Home Basic, if that helps. Basically what I want to know is do these files still exist and how can I access them? Thanks.
