I came across black ants and orange ants.

whilst gardening. my ankles been bitten. was it the orange ants. ive never seen them before. ive seen red and black ants

it was definetly red ants u only get orange ants, fire ants, in places like the jungle in south america

It was most likely the red ants that bit you- Though I have seen some black biters too. You'll need to use a good insect repellent.

It Is The orange ants which are in fact red ants, they look orangey/red in diffrerent light, black ants do not bite UNLESS they are the flying black ants, but don't worry buy ANTIHISTAMINE CREAM or TABLETS && the itching should stop,

i havnt seen red/orange ants in years. forgot they existed. lol

all ants eat

while the garden is dry look for the ant hills and sprink;e libera amounts of corn meal near by.

Ants will eat cornmeal but they cant digest it,,,so it bloats them up and they die.

it works,,i do it all the time,,but i use MASA instead of meal,,,its the cornflour for making Tacos.

You didn't state where you live, in the South there are probably at least a half dozen type of stinging ants which will range from black to tall red to black and red to orange. You should of been able to instantly see what ant bit or stung you... twig ants are orange and can sting but they usually are seen as loners.  Don't waste your corn meal..grits..malto-meal as ant control...ants do not, most can not, eat solid foods so it is impossible for them to either explode or die from not being able to digest it in the first place
