I came as a tourist to detroit and i want to how how i can get to jfk airport terminal one by train ?

i want to leave detroit on the 27 august in the morning and get to Jfk airport latest by 6pm to connect at jfk terminal one. please direct me. i need great assistance thank you

Detroit and New York are about 600 miles (1000 kilometers) apart and there is no direct train service between the two cities.

There is a train leaving Detroit at 11:46am that is scheduled to arrive in New York at 6:31pm.  You change trains in Chicago and Washington, DC.  There is not an earlier train and it appears you will have to travel to New York on the 26th to be at JFK before 6:00pm on the 27th:

The train goes to Penn Station in New York.  Many of the trains are already almost sold out and you need to make a reservation immediately (call AmTrak or go to the train station).

There are also buses from Penn Station to JFK every 2 to 3 hours, starting at about 7:30am each day.

Note that you can fly one-way, non-stop from Detroit to JFK for about $250.   Delta (www.delta.com) has a flight that departs DTW at Noon and arrives JFK at 2:00pm.
