I can't Believe! Why Would WWE Do this?

This was release today on wwe.com: World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of ECW Superstars Stevie Richards and Colin Delaney, Raw tag team Robbie & Rory of The Highlanders, SmackDown Diva Cherry, and WWE referee Wes Adams as of Aug. 15, 2008. WWE wishes them the best in all their future endeavors.

I can understand Colin and Highlanders and The Ref Getting Released, But Cherry and Stevie Richards? Those 2 are popular, they are awesome wrestler, why did they get released?

Sorry but that's not exactly breaking news. Anyways, WWE is releasing more and more wrestlers so they could hire new people who they think will become big stars

Pretty old news, Mr.Mcmahon had to release them because of the million dollar mania, they lost to much money and they couldn't pay their contracts.

WHAT THE FREAKIN HECK??????????????? What is up with all the superstars being released. like you said i could understand why some of them are being released but SHANNON MOORE????????? (still cant get over that!!!!!!!!OMG...NOT COOL!! Pretty soon they wont have any more superstars!!

I saw all of those superstar releases coming from a mile away.  Stevie Richards and Cherry aren't that popular among fans. They might be awesome to some, but they are completly useless for the main roster. And by main, I mean the people who actually matter.  I know it's kind of mean, but superstars are only as good as WWE makes them look. And Cherry really couldn't fit into the diva roster.  As for Richards I had my fingers crossed that he would be ECW champion as soon as he returned.  However that didn't happen.

Well wwe wasn't planning to do anything with them! And with them out of WWE,Mr. Mcmahon could hire new and fresher wrestlers that have not been seeing on TV!
