I can't add a movie to my iPod

Ok, so I just bought my ipod! yupp, really exciting the problem is I can't add movies on it. I downloaded and installed iTunes and when I go to the Movies Directory and go to add file to library and I choose the file it doesn't show up in my library therefore i can't sync it to my ipod...can anyone help?

you may need to convert the movie file that is stored on your computer to an ipod compatible file such as mp4 for audio.

check the itunes directory for accepable file importing file types

Maybe your movies are not your iPod playable formats.You can try a converter to convert your movies to your iPod supported formats.I always use cucusoft iPod video/movie converter. Here i want to share it with you. You can free download it and have a try.

ipod accepts only mp4 videos,u need a third party software to convert the videos to MP4 videos,i used to iSkysoft ipod movie converter, it's easy to operate and support free upgrade..
