Sometimes invites to a group doesn't get accepted because the people have set their preferences to make it so that owners of other groups can't send invitations to them to join other groups.

I would recommend checking with a Yahoo Groups customer service representative as well to see what they say.

The person you are trying to Add probably has their preferences set to not allow group owners to add and/or invite him/her to their groups.

Here is a word of advice your you regarding adding people to your group.  It's against Yahoo Groups Guidelines to add people to your group without those people's permission. They could report you to Yahoo and you could lose your total Yahoo account and your group could get deleted.  It would be a shame for that to happen to you.  ;)
