Will Federer ever win the French? Will he remain ranked #1? Will he win Wimbledon this year to at least save his dismal season?

  1. Anybody slating Federer is clearly ignorant, this is the best player of all time, he will win Wimbledon and the US open this year, i am willing to put a bet on that he is too good a player to go down like that, yes people who have no brains will slay the great man,but Nadal is the Clay courts best ever player ,Federer is still the best tennis player on grass and hardcourts.

  2. Nadal can't lose on clay and that is final. Nadal also should be ranked #1.

  3. I agree with climber dude.

Rafa just totally dominated Roger it was embarrassing i felt sorry for Federer. Anyway im sooo happy he won his 4th title here :) ! Nadal is amazing and he will win wimbledon !!! Vamos Rafa x*x

  4. It depends if he is good on that surface. Nadal is the king of the clay court at the moment so I don't think anyone else has a chance while he is at the top of his game. As for Wimbledon, not sure if he's going to win or not, I'm rooting for Andy Murray myself

  5. 1) He won't ever win the French.

    2) He might lost No. 1 at the end of the year.  To keep it he will have to defend both his Wimbledon and US Open title

    3) I think he will lose to Nadal in the wimbledon finals.

  6. He should fire his coach again...

  7. fed will definetly remain #1 if he maintains his standard of play in the remaining half of they year. this half is the juicy part of  the season. this is where the best tennis comes out and where there are bigger tournaments. federer will win the french if nadal is not on form or if he isnt in the draw. he will definetly win wimbledon because he is one of the few who is good on grass. djoker is better than rafa. last year, if djoker was not tired, he would have won

  8. Federer is my favorite, but you never know.  Nadal just played incredible tennis the whole week.  Can he keep it up for the next few years?  As long as he stays healthy, I can't imagine anyone beating Nadal on clay.  But sh-t happens, and you never know.  He did lose to Fererro because of injury, but you hate to see that happen.

Federer'll stay number one.  I still think Federer is capable of better tennis, but he's probably putting too much pressure on himself.  I think he does need to adopt more of a Nadal attitude, where you are entitled to nothing, and victory only comes from fighting hard -- "humilty and hunger"  I guess it's easy to say but hard to do, "focusing on process rather than results."

When Wimbledon comes around I think Fed will bounce back.  He's improved his serve.  He's improved his volleying, and his backhand is actually an asset on grass where the ball bounces low.  I think people have also uncovered the fact that Nadal is slightly vulnerable to drop shots, because he gets into a rhythm tracking the ball side-to-side, but he's thrown off a llittle if he has to run for a drop shot.  He has been off-balance against short balls.

  9. no man fedrer is done i guess he wont able to reach the final of wimledon i guess it will be a new champ this year for both wimbledon and us open and its the end of roge....nadal rock

  10. I don't think Federer will ever win the French Open unless Nadal is injured or something like that. And as far as his #1 status, he'll definitely be there up to the start of Wimbledon, and can only lose the #1 ranking if he loses in the 4th round or earlier AND Nadal wins the title.  That's probably not going to happen though, at least the part of Federer losing in the 4th round or earlier.  I think Federer is still the favorite to win Wimbledon, but his odds are not nearly as good as they used to be.

  11. he is certainly having a tough time.. no doubt.... its not his year.... and i knew if nadal was not going to lose to Djovick nobody else would come close to pulling off the deed.. oh well.. nadal was too good..

no i think its going to be a suprise winner at wimbledon this year.
