Have answered the accusations of Essendon tanking elsewhere - when you have 24 fit men, mainly adolescents who have never played together before, of course you lose by 108 points.Melbourne have been doing it all season with a full list! Also the standard of umpiring mistakes was appalling. Send those three umps to managatang north!

You have to ask yourself who benefits from St Kilda getting atop Adelaide.

Andy D Metriou wants some non-Victorian finals and he got them!

Adelaide benefit in that they play Collingwood at AAMI not Geelong at Telstra or MCG.

Sydney benefit in that they get a home final against the kangas.

Sure, the Saints get a double chance, but how competent will they be after the comprehensive belting they'll get from Geelong?

Well actually mate the St Kilda boys deserve it! they played outstandingly against Bombers winning by 108 points. And do you remember last week well um yeah we beat adelaide by 48 points. Adelaide wouldn't stand A CHANCE against Cats, but neither would the saints but they would do A LOT better than crows would.

I was surprised too Kev, but now the GREAT news is that we can go to AAMI on Saturday and watch the Crows beat Collingwood!

Dunno about the Saints "doing it".  Essendon were totally awful and looked like they let em win.  That effort was just not good enough.  It was all too easy and I feel very sorry for Adelaide.  Looked like a set up to me.

I asked the question about how many points for this to happen. I didn't think it could, my mate in Wheeler's Hill and I talked about it last night after Smash gave me the answer.

Neither of us thought the Sainters could win by over 90. Well, they did.

I don't like to talk sh*t about games, but good luck to all in the finals. Sure, I want Geelong to win, but I am not going to sledge about it. That is bad luck.

I just didn't think St. Kilda could do it, but I wanted to know what had to happen.

...... all the bombers had to do, was lose by LESS than 90 points. thats all, and that miserable team couldnt even do that. and in the last quarter, they only needed to kick 1 measely goal. and they couldnt even do that! dear lord... anyway, at least we're playing at home against collingwood, and not away against geelong.
