I can't believe that college is useless?

I don't get it when people say that college classes are useless. That many courses are not geared for your career, etc. Whatever happened to wanting to learn for learning's sake?

I liked the way Bill put it. And I agree with you... People don't understand that by learning, you get knowledge in return...they always want materialistic things...

They don't understand the purpose of a college education.  It is a very important part of career development - which is basically a process of self discovery.  They think it consists of stuff  you learn so you can have a meal ticket - it isn't that at all.  Check out:
