I'm okay with a slow cooker. Not too good with BBQ. Can manage an oven barely. Am scared of stove.

  1. You could make meatloaf.  All you need is the hamburger, egg, breadcrumbs, and some spices.  Mold and bake at 350 for about an hour depending on the size.  I add a can of tomatoe soup on mine..Yum.

Or, you could make taco's, fry up the hamburger add some taco seasoning.  Get some shells, cut up tomatoe's, add salsa, cheese and sour cream.

Or just go with classic hamburger's, same as mealoaf but fry or bake them.

You could make sauce too, make some meatballs (same recipe as meatloaf and burgers) bake them in the oven and add to a jar of your favoirte sauce.  Boil some noodles, make a side salad and a loaf of italian bread...your all set!

  2. 1.) Meatloaf:

    Defrost beef in the Microwave.

    Mix Together:

    Ketchup

    Mustard

    Tomato Sauce

    Bar-B-Que Sauce

    Salt/Pepper

    (1) Egg

    Cup of Bread Crumbs

Shape meatloaf into an oval. Spray cooking pan w/ Pam.

Place in oven for 45 minutes @ 450, or until center is warm.

    2.) Pic-A-Dillo

    Defrost beef in microwave.

    1. Break up beef, place beef in a frying pan, and cook on a medium heat. Cook beef until it begins to brown.

    2. While Beef is cooking in frying pan Add & Mix Together:

    a. Green Olives

    b. Raisins

    c. Beans.

    d. Small can of Tomato Paste

    3. Serve over bed of rice.

    a. Boil water. When water comes to a boil add & mix rice. Bring water down to a simmer while stirring rice. Cook rice until its consistency is soft.

    3. Meatballs

    1 lb lean ground beef

    1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs

1/3 cup water (more or less)

    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    a. Serve over pasta. Follow instructions for cooking rice.

  3. Eat a plain piece of bread.

  4. Sweety- you can obviously read, therefore you can cook. There is no reason to be afraid of the stove. It is the first thing most people learn how to use - until the advent of the microwave and that isn't really cooking.

    Ground beef:

Easiest: make patties and make a burger. Heat your pan (put a few tablespoons of water in it) and put it on medium heat. You'll know it's hot when the water starts to bubble.t. If it's smoking too much, lower the heat. Use a spatula to make sure it isn't sticking. If you are using a non-stick pan, use a plastic spatula to prevent scratching. After about 4 minutes, flip it. After three more minutes, it's likely done.

If you want it to be tastier: Mix the burger with some spices (garlic, salt, pepper).

If you want the same thing to be a meatloaf:

Prehead oven to 375 degrees. Dice up some onions.  (one small)  Put this, an egg, the burger, some diced green peppers, and about a 1/4 of a cup of bread crumbs. (make toast and crunch it up if you don't have bread crumbs). salt, pepper, some garlic, and a couple of dashes of worcestershire sauce.  Mix it up with your hands. Shape into a loaf and put in a bread pan. If you don't have a bread pan, you can use a bigger pan. You've already shaped it- it won't likely fall apart.

    Bake for about an hour.

Now that you've made your first meatloaf- use the internet and google

hamburger recipes.  Again- you can read. As long as you can read, you can cook.

  5. i like milkshakes ........................

  6. make chili in a slow cooker. I'm sure there are recipes on Foodnetwork.com

  7. SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS

           Meatballs (recipe below)

    1/4 c. vegetable oil

    1/2 c. chopped onion

    1 clove garlic, minced

    3 1/2 c. (28 oz. can) tomato puree

    1 c. water

    2/3 c. (6 oz. can) tomato paste

    1 tsp. salt

    1/2 tsp. oregano

    1/2 tsp. basil

    1/8 tsp. pepper

    1 pkg. (16 oz.) spaghetti

Prepare meatballs; brown in oil in large skillet. Pour off excess fat. Add onion and garlic; saute 2 to 3 minutes. Add tomato puree, water, tomato paste, salt, oregano, basil and pepper; simmer 15-20 minutes.

Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain. Serve with sauce and meatballs.

    MEATBALLS:

    Combine:

    1 1/2 lbs. ground beef

    1/3 c. flavored bread crumbs

    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese

    2 eggs

    1 tbsp. chopped parsley

    1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt

    1/4 tsp. pepper

    Shape into balls.

  8. The problem is, even with a slow cooker, you usually have to brown the meat before you put it in there - otherwise it'll be tasteless and greasy whatever you're making.

If you're just feeding yourself, thaw it out and season it up with garlic, worcestershire or terriyaki sauce or whatever you like and make hamburger patties and fry them up.

Or brown the meat in a skillet and season with whatever you like, then drain and wrap in a nice flour tortilla with some cheese - dinner accomplished!

As for being afraid of the stove, just keep the heat to medium and watch it.  Stir frequently and keep the phone nearby - more for your peace of mind than a  need for it.  Unless your stove is wonky you should be ok.

In college I moved into this house with a GAS stove - my first ever!  And it had no pilot so I had to light it with a match every time.  Took me awhile to get over THAT.  lol

  9. There is no reason to be scared of a stove unless you catch fire like a match.

    Get a skillet med heat

Put the beef in and break it up

stir it around, let it brown

when its completely brown drain and add prego

Boil spaghetti noodles in a pot until done high heat

drain the water from the noodles

    And you have spaghetti

you could even use another pot if you are scared of the skillet

This dinner should only take about 15-20 minutes

The noodles take the longest, and you don't have to stir them but a few times to make sure they don't stick.

There also many sites that can give step by step directions on making dinner

This site is just for the people who can't cook.

    Good luck

  10. Send it over to my fridge.

  11. Spaghetti Bolognese.. just get a preggo tomato sauce.

  12. I like making pasta shells. Then after draining, put pasta back in pot over a low flame & mix in cheddar cheese & ground beef.. mmm..

  13. You could make a hamburger in the microwave. They don't taste as good as ones done in a pan or in the oven, but just make the patty, put it on some paper towels to absorb the grease, put some paper towels on top, and microwave it for a minute at a time until the juices aren't red any more.

You can 'fry' hamburger for sloppy joes and tacos and such the same way, crumbling the hamburger before putting it in the microwave.

If you want something fancier, you can use the 'f'ried' hamburger with a jar of spaghetti sauce, some grated chese,  a cup of water, and a cup of instant rice with some oregano and make a pizza cassarole. Just put it all in the oven for about 30 minutes at 350F

  14. Do you like pasta?

If so, boil some pasta and buy a jar or two of Ragu pasta sauce.  This is really easy, actually.

Brown your meat in a pan on medium-low heat, constantly breaking the meat apart with a spatula.  While it is browning, sprinkle about 1 tsp of garlic power, 1/2 tsp of oregano and 1/2 tsp of basil on the meat, brown it all the way through and then drain the grease.

Then add this meat to your heated pasta sauce and top your pasta with it and you are ready to eat.  It is a quick meal.
