I can't copy my pictures from my computer to a CD, WHY?

Question

I am trying to copy pictures from my computer to a Memorex CD-R but when I right click on the picture to copy it to the CD drive, I get a message to insert a blank CD, which is already inserted, however it keeps telling me to insert a blank CD. The pictures were downloaded from my camera onto my computer. I have tried using another CD from another batch but its still not working. What is wrong and how can I copy my pictrues?

try to write a cd from nero software.if same problem then do the changes in the internet properties then advanced,definately this will help u.

you my have dust on you sensor, try blowing on it... other than that i have no idea. i was going to say try another disk but you've done that.

have you tried putting the image on the disk by dragging it into the disk file?

Hey well it sounds like your disk is full even though nothing is on it,Meaning it is just a bad disk,I suggest using a different type of a burning disk other then Memorex Cd-r, I myself dont prefer that brand because alot of them are bad even when you just bought the package or burning disk.

is your drive CD R/W or CD Rom only.

if you are not using any burning tool such as Nero and are rely on Windows then try drag drop your pictures into your CD-R/W drive the then from the left hand side of you explorer click on "Write these files to disk"

Make sure that ur writer is working in a proper way.........,if not the cable connecting the writer & other parts of the computer system are clear.
