I can't decide between the Optoma HD65 and Sony VPL-AW10 projectors....?

Which one is better? And does 24p make a big difference? thanks! the answer with most information and details will win best answer!!

  1. Both are excellent choices in that price range. The Sony is quiter and LCD (Optoma HD65 is  DLP). The difference is that the dlp has darker blacks but lcd tends to have better color. Don't worry about the 24 frams/sec., you won't notice any difference in picture quality. I would look at contrast ratio, noise level, and brightness most closely. Both of your choices are very good in those 3 catagories but the Sony does beat the Optoma by small margins. Check out projector central (http://www.projectorcentral.com/home-the... for some reviews. They have profession and layman (owner) reviews and they don't sell so the reviews are trustworthy.
