I can't decide on a wedding dress?

Question

I'm going to buy my wedding dress off ebay, but I can't choose between two.

I'm a size 16, but most of my weight is around my belly area, i have quite small arms and legs for my size. I've bought a corset to bring my belly and waist in, but i can't choose between two dresses

first one because second one being dark on bottom will pick up fluff and the dirt will show.cheers

Definitely the second one - the flow of the skirt will glide over your tummy and hips.

A halter isn't uncomfortable - it can always be altered to make sure it's the right fit for you.

This one is just lovely, and a great style for your figure - just if the inserts and trim would come in white -

I agree w/the suggestions to try on the styles to see which is more comfortable... if you're top heavy you should choose   If you're not, then either would be beautiful.

Two dresses are gorgerous. but I think you should choose the seller who has really dress pictures rather than only have designer pictures copy from MoreLee. here is a really dress picture like your favor dress,hope can help you.

I love the first one, but you actually might be more comfortable in the haltar because you know there's something holding the dress up. That's how I would feel, but they'e both really pretty. I think I like the first one better, actually. And don't worry about your belly, the corset should give it a more tight look. Congrats and good luck!

Oh....I can see why you are having a hard time choosing.  Both of those gowns are beautiful!!

Question?  Have you gone to a local bridal store and tried on something similar?  

I mean....have you tried on a strapless gown with a corset in the back, and also a halter gown with a corset in the back?  One "style" may really pop out at you that it is "the one."

If you look good in both.....then I LOVE #2 the best.  I really think it will look the best with your body size and shape.

They're both lovely, but the lace-up will hold in the waistline better than the halter, and require less alteration. Besides, I LIKE corsets!

I think, given that you say you're a size 16 (and you carry most of your weight in your belly) the halter dreww might be the most flattering.

Both are gorgeous dresses! I have picked out something similar for my own wedding!

I like them both. I think I am liking the 2nd one better because i like halter dresses. What size bra are you? The Halter will make you look more perky than a regular strapless dress.

in my opinion, you should get the first one.

As you said you have quite small arms, & this dress would show off your arms.

I have a quite similar shape  & those sort of dresses are always flattering for people like us.

I'm afraid that the other dresses straps would over-power your shoulders & make you appear big.

I love the red in your dress :)

Personally I like the strapless as I think it is more elegant and will look better on your figure. Halters sometimes restrict movement and pinch in weird places. Strapless is classic and you will be able to hug everyone without discomfort. It is up to you - congrats! You would look gorgeous either way.

I see this all the time, a Bride caught between two dresses. My main worry for you is that you have not tried on either and you are ordering off line, you really have no idea the quality or fit of the garment you are buying.

I suggest going to some local bridal shops to get a dress vs. ordering on line. I have seen Brides come in for alterations from a dress purchased off line that doesn't suite them at all and then they have to pay for extra alterations.

I also suggest on going with something that has a corset and some rouching in the mid section.. very flattering!

I think the halter style is going to be the best and most flattering to your body shape.  It has a higher waist line, pulling the dress away from your body at the parts you carry more weight.

i prefer the halter neck but if your planning to get it without the red section in the middle then maybe the strapless would look better.

Also id check the quality and material of the dress first if your planning to buy online.

Wow.  I see why you are having a hard time choosing, both dresses are drop dead gorgeous.  But from the way you explained your shape I would go with the halter.
