I can't decide on wedding colors!!?

Question

I want to have chocolate brown and another color???

I was thinking either silvery platinum or ivory...any suggestions or links??

I have seen chocolate brown and apple green used together. Think of a Granny Smith apple - yeah, that color. I've even seen green apples used as part of the centerpieces with chocolate brown.  I've seen ivory and green flowers used in wedding bouquets.  There is a beautiful green flower that is this shade of bright green, and I think it's called a ranicula. I'm not sure. I do know there are some flowers that are natually green.

Another color that would be pretty with chocolate brown would be a coral-ly, salmon pink.

Brown is lovely and sophisticated, and many colors would work well with it.

I love how sophisticated brown can be in weddings.  With whatever color you decide, i woudl suggest that you use ivory as an accent color instead of white.

If you are stuck on the silver or ivory I'd say ivory but I also like the whole brown?pink combo and brown/light pink.  A friend of mine is doing brown with burnt orange accents that also looks very classy!

PS It also depends on what month you are getting married in...

I think chocolate and tan is nice, or chocolate and pale blue, I have seen a few dresses like this (not bridesmaids dresses) and thought they were lovely.

I just went to a wedding that was chocolate and tan/kakie...looked awesome! Very elegant, very classy.

The men were all wearing kackie with brown ties.

I would have loved to do Brown and a lighter shade of green. very earthy, very easy to pull off.

Look at the ceremony/reception sites and think about the colors. What colors are already there and how the colors would compliment each other.

Chocolate Brown is a good choice for 3 reasons 1) it's very trendy right now 2) you can put almost anything with it & it looks great 3) the dark tones compliment most body types & skin tones. As for accent colors, the list is endless it all depends on what season you are getting married in...light pink, teal, green apple, sky blue, ivory - you can literally go in hundreds of directions. think about your wedding date, what would compliment the season, & talk to your bridesmaids bc they are going to have to wear it. This is not a direct answer since I do not know the season of your wedding, but consider what kinds of flowers you want and let that help guide your choice.  We chose navy and silver as colors and it was difficult to find coordinating flowers.  It ended up fine, but it could be a challenge.  Silver with a natural color would be lovely I am sure!  Good luck.

I think ivory will look better with chocolate brown. (I also think pink (sort of a mauve tone) & chocolate also looks good together if you're having your wedding in the Fall!) Good luck picking your colors!
