  1. First, it's 'which' not 'witch' and you really should ask your doctor.  If your vision is that bad, you may not be able to wear contacts.  Your doctor should know.

    Next.

  2. you should get a consult for lasik.

my husband finally got it done and he couldnt be more thrilled to have his vision and be done with glasses and contacts forever :)

  3. Well you don't have to put on contacts, They have these special sport goggles for people who wear glasses, my friends uses them and says they work great. Go to you local sports store and ask for them

  4. eek: a tennis ball accidentally hit me right in the eye hard from one girl a long time ago, thank goodness for my glasses that time!

unless its necessary then keep your glasses on

if you dont want contacts and not wear glasses though then just wear nothing for that your vision is waay better than mine from what youve stated

  5. i dance, & i use contacts & i have acuvue, which is comfortable,

]you just have to get used to like putitng them in & out, believe the first time i started i was like , ewwwww. but then i got used to it. sometimes it hurts but you can always fix it & you feel better right away. just handle them with care, almost like a pet because if you dont, youll rip it.

  6. well you say you arent comfortable with contacts...are you uncomfortable with glasses? because i played sports for years, including high school field hockey, with glasses and had no problems. its definitely possible, if you want to keep your glasses. otherwise...its either contacts or lasic, sorry! contacts arent really that hard though. i just started not too long ago, and at first it can be really frustrating and hard but eventually you get used to it and its just second nature sticking things in your eye :)

  7. I was weirded out about touching my eyes when I first started wearing contacts, too.  It just takes practice, and lots of patience.  There may be days in the beginning where you become frustrated trying to get them in.  If that is the case, put them away for a while and try again later or the next day.  You will get the hang of it, and be much more comfortable when you play sports once you do.  Also, once you are evaluated for contacts, the doctor will give you a trial pair.  Take them home and try them out to make sure you like them before you buy more!  Lastly, of all the brands I have worn, I like Acuvue 2 the best.  I've heard Acuvue Oasis are also great.  Good luck!

  8. well that sucks
