Question

A sloping mug

turns north

the fertile bug

leaps forth

the coffee man

turns his head

the frying pan

sizzles red

a yelping dog

a tired eye

the creeping fog

the rhyming lie.

I liked both rhyme and metre, and also the prophetic sense to your poem.  It made a very good read this morning, at least to my foggy old head.
