  1. Do pushups while standing on your knees. They're considered "feminine pushups", the way girls usually do pushups, because girls usually have underdeveloped upper body strength.

Do strength exercises like that one twice a week, spaced 3-4 days apart, and eat more protein.

  2. maybe you can try doing girl push-up (your knees are on the ground instead of your toes) to build up more arm strength until you can do the full push-up

  3. Practice.

Start by putting your feet just far enough from the wall so that you can't touch it, and then lean against the wall.  Do "push-outs" from that position.  Do them in sets of 10 or 20, and work your way up until you can do them easily.  Then Find something lower (and solid!) to push against, like a kitchen counter.  Move your feet further back, maybe so that your shoulders are at about the edge of the counter when you lean against it with your body straight.  Push out and up from there, and keep practicing until you can do this easily.  By now you should be able to do at least a few pushups.  Practice on the floor until they are easy, or you can do enough to pass the test.

  4. Its normal if you dont do them usually.

Start with your knees bent and on the ground.

When you feel ready go to the normal position start like that. Keep doing them and you should get better.

  5. My trainer at the gym suggested that I begin with one can of veggies in each hand and start with ten reps.  I did that for two days a week for two weeks.  the third week I added another day and another set of reps and so on.  It does work just be consistant.

  6. Start a weight lifting program so that you develop upper body strength.  You need to do specific exercises for each muscle and you will develop increased strength overall and be better able to do the pushups.  Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall.
