I can't download Windows Live Messenger?

Hi I'm having trouble downloading Windows Live Messenger to My Computer. After a few minutes after I press download something pops up saying that it can't download and I don't understand it so if anybody can help that will be great !!

Go here http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Ch... and DOWNLOAD it - as in SAVE not Run. Put it somewhere on your pc, close all other programs and windows and double click on the installer that you downloaded.
