I can't download .avi and some others :(( help please!!?

VLC player is amazing if you want to play the .avi files and many other common and uncommon media formats the safest link is http://www.download.com/VLC-Media-Player... it is the latest version. Hope this helps you.

The best solution for this would be to download the K-Lite Codec pack. Once the installation is complete just play the file on your regular windows media player or on the media player classic that came with teh K-Lite installation.

By the way, if the file still doesn't play on your system or any of your friends system for that matter, its either corrupt or, if you've downloaded it, may not even be a valid avi file.

VLC player is a real good one.....so u can download it.

Along with that do download the K-lite Codec Megapack. Both of these will help u play almost all types of video n audio files.

I downloaded them from "download.com" a long time back, so m not sure if it's still available there....but u can check. The other sites to check are:

DivX is probably the best for .avi files. Go to divx.com and click on the free download.
