Question:

I can't fall asleep, help!?

I've just started school and my sleeping schedule's been a little screwed up lately. Last night I was laying in bed until, like, 1am and felt awful when I couldn't fall asleep...

Is there anything you suggest that's helpled you fall asleep?

I know all the common things people say, like drinking green tea or milk, setting yourself a strict bedtime, that sort of stuff.

  1. Starting school , well that's part of the problem....excitement, nerves etc etc ! Dunno but you need to tire the body....so try some hard excercise if you can and are able too  ! If not just before you go to bed have a long hot bath (hate them myself) but that can relax you !

    If you can move a TV into your room and get in bed and watch that with the sound at a soft level and the lights off and try "NOT" to go to sleep...pretend that you have to watch the show and your body will betray you and you'll fall asleep (seriously)! I know it sounds stupid but it works for me! It's like someone saying "blah blah blah" and you just can't keep your eyes open ! Good luck...*L*....and "yep" I sound like an idiot but the thing is not to think of going to sleep but thinking of staying awake in a warm relaxing cuddly bed with the TV mesmerizing you ! *S*

  4. Turn off your computer, seriously.  Turn off your TV and lights.  Close your eyes and stop thinking.
