Question:

I can't fall asleep and school starts soon?

School starts in about 1 week for me and throughout the whole summer i couldn't fall asleep.I go to bed at like 9:30 and when school starts i will go to bed at like 8:30. I fall asleep between 11:30 and 12:30. When school starts i get up at 6:00. How do I fall asleep. I usually lay in bed for about 3 hours. To make myself tired I read before i go to bed but I am still really awake so i play games on my ipod. I want to stop doing that but i can't seem to fall asleep. I need tricks and stuff like that. It could be my room but i have switched rooms to many times and like the room i am in. I just can't fall asleep. Pleaseeeeeee Help me

  1. ok ok hmm. i have the same problem but its goody that ive finished school now :P. anyway, i usually find after i get out the bath I'm tired, maybe it would work for u?don'tt drink fizzy drinks or eat food an hour before you go to sleep. good luck in your new school

  3. It's so hard for you to fall asleep right now, in the summer, because you don't waste out all you energy. When you are at school your brain is challenged and so are your muscles depending on the different activities you do so therefore when you have school you get tired easily and fall asleep easily but when it's summer time you just don't worry about anything and there is no pressure on you therefore you stay awake. And if you can't fall asleep think of something that would tire your brain. Do math problems or count sheep in your head That way you just tire your brain and bam you fall asleep.

  4. You missy need to thing about things that you have done through out the day or you need to get addicted to a game and think about that game while you sleep this will 100% work, i know this would work if you dont fall asleep within 20 minutes you should go eat something that go to sleep.

    The same thing is happening to me. I think it's because during the summer I wake up at dinner time, do nothing all day, so i'm not tired.

    I think once you go back to school, you'll sleep better, because you'll be tired when you get home.

    Try waking up earlier each day before you go back to school, so you get back into a normal sleeping routine. Lol.

  6. Drink warm milk before you go to sleep.

    Exercise - tire yourself out.

    If you sleep late, then wake up early, and the next night you should want to sleep early because your tired.

    That's what I do :)

    Don't try sleeping pills, it's not great for your body, especially if you're 12.
