Will I need when I go to vote? If so, do I have enough time to get another card? I can't find it any place.

  1. I have never had to show my voter registration card.  The election officials have these big books with the names of everyone registered to vote in that particular precinct.  They just look you up, and check  you off ( you have to sign the book too.)

  2. Election laws vary from state to state, so you should check out this website (http://www.declareyourself.com/voting_fa... ) to find the link to your Secretary of State's Office, which handles elections. There you will be able to find what kind of documents or identification are required upon entering the polling place, and what to do if you have lost your voter registration card.

  3. In Florida, you don't need your voter registration card at all.  In fact, it even says on it that it can't be used as an ID for voting purposes.  Usually, the card is only informational for you and tells you where to vote.  Contact your local supervisor of elections office and see what is required in the where you live.

    Polling Places

When you register to vote, you are sent a voter registration card with the name of your precinct and location of your polling place. If you've lost or misplaced your card, please call the Office of Voter Registration at 703-228-3456 or email us for a replacement.
