I can't find usb driver for my JVC GR D72U mini Dv camcorder, I'm very desperate pls help me, thanks?

only still images are able to transfer fr. my cam to my laptop Compaq Presario 5000, Window Xp, using USB cable. I think this laptop is no port for IEEE1394A, everytime I connect usb the windows is asking for instalation cd, I wandering if my problem will be solve by using IEEE1394A firewire without installing usb driver. since this driver is not available in any jvc store here in the philippines and any jvc and freewaresite. pls. help me

Install a firewire (IEEE1394a, i.Link) port on your computer and transfer using a firewire cable and get that working - No Camera drivers required. USB won't work.

you cant get video from a mini-dv camcorder to computer with USB. the only way is to get a dv connector (firewire) from radioshack. they should have one. thats where i got mine for my jvc mini-dv camcorder.
