I can't get a tampon in!!!!!!!!! omggggsh?

Question

I can't get a tampoonn in!! this may sound gross but i looked in the mirror and my hymen's in the way!! my.. ahem.. is literally probably as wide as my small finger and definitely not as big as a tampon.. i trieed inserting a tampon and it wouldn't go through without it hurting really bad! I know there's a way to surgically remove your hymen, but my mom and i aren't close at all and it would be really hard to approach her about that... any help? thanks a lot.. xoxo jess

This happened my first time... I CRIED! bUT my mom helped me.  Just try to ask your mom because I could have never gotten it up there without her help.

Just use a pad.  I had a huge issue putting tamons in for a long time.  Now I'm used to it so they just go in.  It shouldnt hurt so just talk to your mom.  She went through the same thing so it should be fine

I can understand the same thing happens to me, I still can't use one but I heard it has to stretch and my friends say that it helps to look in a mirror to see what your doing and you have to insert upward so I feel your pain literally... you'll get it one day though..

don't worry!

if you really, really, really want to be able to wear tampons... and NOW, then take a deep breath, and just shove it in. it WILL hurt but it's normal, it has to tear at some point. after that you will be homefree.

if you don't tear it yourself, or accidentally, when you lose your virginity it'll hurt like a ************, so i suggest doing it now, by yourself. if you really don't want to, you can just try and see if it'll tear naturally. good luck!

Oh my god if it hurts then don't keep jamming it up there! Your...."Virginia" hole is probably really dry! Go put a pad in, then later tonight, when your all MOIST [gross I know] try again, tonight. Bend your legs like your sitting on a toilet, and push it SLOWLY up there, then use the PLUNGER to push it up as high as it can go, then grab at the plastic part and pull it out. Easy as pie, it just takes practice.
