I can't get my Samsung HL-T5087S remote to work with my direct tv dvr box, help?

I've tried all the codes in the manual and 045 give me very limited functions, ex. I can power the box on and off, I can use the fastforwar, rewind, and play button. But no other funtions work. Has anyone else had this issue ?

You have to press the code in fast. (use the first code because I have an samsung HL-T5687S DLP TV

O yeah move the slide over to TV section on the remote

Have you tried these DIRECT TV codes 015 016 017 019 022 060 061 062 065 066 067 068. You can also try a code search, with your remote.
