I can't get my computer to give out sound! I also don't knowhow to check if I have any?

No sound is coming out of my computer and do not know enough to check to see what may be wrong

there could be 2 reasons. #1. burned out sound card or #2.corrupt driver.

In the right hand corner of the computer on the start bar, you should see a megaphone. Right click on it and click "open volume control" Then make sure the mute button is un clicked. Also make sure you speakers are turned on and the volume is up.
