I put my contact in this morning and it didn't feel right when it went in, so i tried to get it out and it wouldn't come out. It was in the outside corner of my eye, and i have been trying to pull it to the inside corner of my eye to pull it out but it STILL won't come out. I have tried using eye drops to help, it helps the redness but i still cant get it out. It is like it is "attached to my eye" and i've been trying for over and hour now and my eye is really sore from me messing with it. I would go to my eye doctor but i am at my dad's house which is 2 and a half hours away from my eye doctor. Someone pleasee help me!!!

  1. First, calm down. Stress will make your hands shake, making you miss the lens when you try to get it out. Get to the mirror, close the good eye (the one with the good lens), and use your dominant hand's fingers to gently push the lens to the middle of the eye, while using the other hand to hold the eye open. When it is in reach, grab the lens and pull it out as though you are pulling a normal lens out. If this doesn't work, you can ask your dad to take it out for you, but you have to stay very still and not blink and he has to wash his hands.

    Good luck! :)

  2. I did this once and couldn't get it out so I set on the couch and put my head back and closed my eyes.  A little later the contact floated around front so I could remove it.  It really does help when you relax and try not to be stressed out.

  3. are you sure that your contact is in your eye, because it could be on your counter and the redness could be because of you trying to get it out, because i did that once.
