I can't get my cylinder out of my 922 H&R?

I inherited my grand fathers pistol...a model 922 h&r revolver...it was kinda rusty but i shined it up pretty good with C.L.R. and soaked it overnight, I want to clean it more throughly but I can't get the pin out...any suggestions, tips, or help?

  2. I own this exact model and it functions perfectly. If you cannot remove the cylinder it cannot be counted on to function safely. You can buy an exact (functioning) replica at gunbroker.com for about $200 so there's no need to risk it.What you have is a display piece.

  3. Penetrating oil.

    I don't like the soaking the whole revolver idea unless the next step is complete disassemble and cleaning.

  4. soak it in breakfree CLP. The only time I ever suggest using wd40 on a firearm is in a casew like this, it is a good penetrating oil for breaking down rust, just be sure to clean it well and use a proper lube like Breakfree when you are done.
