ok I brush on a regular basis and I floss regularly as well, but now matter what I try whenever I floss in between by back most two teeth the floss always comes out smelling like p**p. This is no exageration it really smells like something that would normally come out the other end. now i've noticed that my breath never smells good even if I've just brushed/flossed/rinsed and I'm 99% sure this is to blame. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem?

  1. Ever tried a tongue scrapper?  And do you use Listerine or something like it after every brushing?  Flossing regularly means flossing once a day, EVERY day...right?

  2. You need to eliminate the possible causes. First, have your dentist check for any mouth disorder. If there is nothing wrong then the only other possibility is your digestive tract. I had a friend with the same problem. You could be standing 10 feet away from him and you could smell his bad breath. What I had him do is a colon cleanse. This may seem weird but when you think about it if you are on the heavy side or have irregular bowel movements you're storing undigested food and it's fermenting inside you. People are not made to be walking refrigerators if you get my point. After he did the colon cleanse, his bad breath went away. The best cleanse I found is Oxy Powder. Try this course if you're cleared by the dentist.

  3. Try brushing your tongue.

  4. gurgle with your own urine. it works a treat for me.

  5. I would say you need to see a dentist and get their opinion. It could be possible that you have the beginnings of a tooth abcess or something similar which is causing the smell due to the bacteria and your body fighting against them (dead white blood cells) That would be my only real guess.

  6. You need to visit your dentist. It sounds like you might have a chronic gum infection. If you brush and floss regularly and still find smelly debris on the floss, it may be an indication that there is an infection in the gums between those back teeth. You don't want to let a gum infection go, because it can cause bacterial growth in your bloodstream and also can cause heart and other problems.
