if you already attempted and are still getting mail, just be patient while the servers update. if you had not left any yet, here's a way how to

go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the last column Leave Group, clic small box - click save changes

if you leave via the unsubscribe e-mail- expect delays worse than the airport
