Question:

I can't get out of My Yahoo Beta. It freezes the browser(IE7). Any restart goes back to the beta.?

I used the "switch to beta" on My Yahoo and now the beta comes up when I log on or any time that I enter "my.yahoo.com." in the browser.

  1. An overloaded Browser Cache and corrupt cookies can cause and wide range of problems.  People don't seem to know they have to clear out this area periodically.  Maybe this is why your browser freezes.

    Clear your browser's cache. (In Internet Explorer)

    1. Close all browser windows.

    2. Open a new browser window.

    On the menu bar

    3. Click on Tools

    4. Click - Internet Options.

    On the Internet Options drop-down menu,

    5. Delete all Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, Saved Passwords etc.

    Then try again.

    In Yahoo Mail Beta:

    You can switch back to the previous version of mail by clicking on Switch Back, located by Sign Out, My Account
