The floor is like laminate floors and there's like years worth of dirt on it (it was abandoned) and the only way I can get the dirt off is to use a kitchen copper sort of sponge and scrub it really hard with cleaners like bleach. I was wondering if there are any other ways to clean it with or to make it easier for me... Thanks...

  1. ok first back away from bleach it will only make your floors slippery and sticky. first wash your floor as good as you can get them then get some fantastik then spray your floor let it stand for about 5 minutes then mop and dry it up the stains should be gone if not try kaboom that will definetly get the stains up!

  2. Depending on the type of substance that left the stain things to try would be:

    Bleach

Ammonia (but NEVER mix bleach and ammonia)

    Vinegar

    Mr. Clean Magic Erasers.

I've had good luck with Vinegar for cleaning crud and although stinky I don't find it as awful as bleach or ammonia.

The Magic Erasers are seriously awesome as well.

  3. Nope

  4. Buy some of the Mr Clean Erasers.  They're shaped like a sponge and you wet them & squeeze out excess water and wipe your surface.  As the eraser cleans it will begin to get "used up" until you only have a small piece left.  I think this is the best thing that's been invented in a LONG time!  I use them on walls, floors, counters , doors, stove etc.

  5. Mr. Clean multi purpose cleaner and a sponge. Spray the floor and leave it for 10 mins come back to it and it will wipe off. This stuff is a awsome cleaner and it is really cheap too.

  6. I know this sounds gross but I once was watching a puppy and it peed on my old floor that never came clean but when I cleaned up the pee I noticed how clean it became.... Since pee is mostly amonia I decided to just pour straight amonia directly onto the stubborn dirt and let it sit for a few second.....It worked great.
