I can't get the archives to appear to members only they stay public?

I have changed the archive settings to my group to members only but they keep appearing public.

What can I do?

are you clicking save changes? is there someone else resetting it? check your group logs

Please make sure you followed these steps:

Sign in to the group.

Click on Management.  

Under Group Settings, click on Messages.

To the right of Posting and Archives, click on Edit.

Scroll down to "Archive Options-Access" and click the circle in front of "Members".  

Click Save Changes.  

Now you can test this by signing OUT of the group.  Then go to your group's home page (do not sign in) and see if you can click on "Messages" on left side of page.  If it doesn't let you view the messages, your archives setting is no longer Public.
