  1. Spray some WD-40 around the plug and allow it to sit for 30 minutes or more.  Then if needed use a large s***w driver or similar object in the ring of the plug and pull with both hands.  If it is still tight try twisting the plug to loosen first then pull out.

  2. Find someone with, or buy an impact driver.  They will loosen most anything that can loosened with a few whacks with a hammer.

  3. Sounds like your teflon gasket might be missing. Don't forget to put it back in when you get this one out.

When I have a stuck lower unit s***w, I get out the biggest screwdriver that will still fit. It has a big flat head and I use both hands. (boys, keep the jokes to yourself).

If that doesn't work you may have to have a marine mechanic help.

    Good luck.
