My shoulder has moderate pain in it, might be tendinitis etc. Every time I turn over in my sleep, I wake up or sometimes I can't fall asleep at all, I take Advil/benadrly before sleep it doesn't seem to help at all,

Should I go to doctor and get some Tylenol 3's etc. or what? Last time doctor gave me some it seemed to help, but that was months ago.

  1. Yeah I think T3's or Darvocet would be ok for the pain. I would have a doctor look at it more closely because it could get worse and could possibly cause irreversible damage. If your doctor can't figure out what is wrong have him refer you to a physical therapy place and they may be able to find what the cause of the problem is.

  2. Go to a sports doctor, or an orthodics doctor. They specialize in things like this and can tell you what to do!

  3. yep you should got to the doctor or try getting a massage

  4. You should seek a more permanent solution to your pain management, like surgery or sling isolation.

In the meantime, don't turn over when you are asleep - just kidding.

  5. I would definitely go see the doctor. There's a number of options here. If he/she feels necessary they can do a cortisone injection which hurts but helps in the long run. Of course, there's pain management or perhaps physical therapy. Talk to your doctor and see what he/she suggests.
